These are the standards behind our resources, opportunity listings, community spaces, partnerships, and AI Coach. If we fall short, tell us plainly.

Competition and program dates labelled confirmed must come from the organiser’s official website or published rules. Recurring windows without current dates are labelled estimated. Every listing links to the official page, which remains the final authority.
When a material date, eligibility rule, cost, or claim is wrong, we correct it promptly and update the page date. Send evidence to info@worlddebatecollective.org. We do not quietly preserve a claim we know is unreliable.
We do not sell student contact information. Community spaces must be appropriate for young people: no harassment, discrimination, intimidation, sexual content, doxxing, or exploitative recruitment. Serious safeguarding concerns are escalated and access may be removed immediately.
AI Coach can help structure cases, test rebuttals, and improve drafts. It can be wrong. Users should verify factual claims and citations. The Coach must not impersonate a participant, fabricate evidence, or replace a student’s own judgment. API credentials remain server-side.
Paid placements, sponsors, referral relationships, and material partner support are labelled near the relevant content. Payment does not buy a higher opportunity rating or editorial endorsement.
We aim for keyboard access, readable contrast, responsive layouts, useful alternative text, and reduced-motion support. If a WDC page blocks you, contact us with the page, device, and assistive technology used.
Accountability
Include the page URL, the claim or behaviour at issue, and any supporting source. We review corrections, safety reports, accessibility problems, and conflicts of interest.
